OCIC encourages all business owners to explore this new grant program from the City of Oakland. These grants provide up to $75,000 (up to $30,000 for exterior and up to $45,000 for interior) to improve the interior and exterior of your business. The grants can be used to upgrade safety and ADA accessibility, as well as painting, signage, lighting and flooring. There are additional $2,500 grants to repair windows due to vandalism.
